Our vacation rental property is comprised of four apartment units. We have one and two bedroom apartments in a lush tropical setting with overhanging palms and tropical foliage with flamingo and palm tree fencing - simply charming.

We are located in a QUIET residential area with no traffic - just peaceful and relaxing.
Each apartment is like your own beach cabin: complete with kitchen and outdoor space.

The Flamingo House can be your Sarasota vacation rental too! It is a short drive to downtown Sarasota anytime you want to visit "the city" while you are on vacation. Sarasota has a lot to offer from the arts to shopping and fine dining. You can also visit neighboring islands such as Lido Key and Longboat Key easily, as well as such renown local spots as Venice Beach (Shark tooth capital of the world!) where you can find shark teeth by digging in the sand at the surf.

We provide our guests with free secure high-speed internet service. Towels, sheets, comforters, beach chairs & towels, dishware, outdoor grills and cooking utensils--everything you need to make your stay comfortable is furnished and we are pet friendly too!

Whether you are looking for an affordable family get-a-way or a romantic, fun vacation, The Flamingo House is the perfect destination. Families will enjoy restaurants like The Broken Egg and The Salty Dog, going to the used bookstore and visiting Big Olaf's Ice Cream and Anna's Deli when they are not looking for treasures on our white sandy beaches or playing in the surf.
